The Marrakech Racetrack is the only street circuit that the FIA
formula Two Championship will visit in 2010 and the first event to
take place outside of Europe.
Designed by the same company who produced Surfers Paradise in
Australia, Marrakech Racetrack is located in the Agdal district of
one of Morocco's biggest cities.
The circuit is characterised by a number of long straights
punctuated by chicanes and a tight hairpin. World Touring Cars
visited the circuit in 2009 and became the first international
motor race to take place in the country since the Moroccan Grand
Prix in 1958 which was won by Stirling Moss.
See rounds three and four of the 2010 Formula Two season at
Marrakech - the only street circuit on the F2 calendar. Prices
start from just €2, with heavy discounts for children 12 and
under. Tickets can be purchased online through the Fanzone section
of the official Race of Morocco homepage.
