Located in the Flemish region of Belgium, the undulating Zolder
circuit is one of the countries premier racing tracks.
The 2.4 mile circuit was constructed in 1963 and went on to host
the Belgian Formula One Grand Prix 10 times in the 1970s and 1980s.
Formula One first arrived after the Spa-Francochamps circuit was
deemed too dangerous for the sport and Zolder held the race
continuously between 1975 and 1982.
Once Formula One headed back to Spa, Zolder has gone on to host
World Touring Cars, Superleague, the 24 hours of Zolder and in 2007
a round of the Champ Car World Series. The FIA Formula Two
Championship arrives at the circuit for the first time in 2010 as
part of the World Touring Car package and it is sure to be a unique
challenge to the drivers involved.
Formula Two arrives at Zolder, one of Belgium's premier race
circuits, for rounds seven and eight of the 2010 season. Tickets
start from €8 per person, with free entry for children aged 11
and under and discounts available for under 17s. To book tickets
