2012 sees Indian racer Parthiva Sureshwaren return for a third
season of Formula Two where he hopes to put his previous experience
to good use and establish himself as a regular top 10
finisher.
The Chennai-born driver joined F2 in 2010, and after a solid start
at Silverstone and Marrakech he scored his best result of the year
at Monza, finishing 10th in race two to earn his maiden points
finish. He went on to challenge for the points on several other
occasions, notably finishing 12th at Zolder and 11th at
Portimão.
Last season he became a regular top 15 finisher with impressive
drives at the final two rounds of Monza and Barcelona, as well as
narrowly missing out on a points finish at Brands Hatch after
working his way through the field to 11th from 19th on the grid. He
ended the 2011 season 25th overall in the drivers' standings.
Prior to competing in F2, Parthiva established a reputation as one
of his country's leading talents after success in a variety of
national championships earned him a call to represent his country
in the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport.
