Motors TV 'delighted to continue partnership' with F2
Series to enjoy outstanding live TV package in 2012
Flagship motorsport network Motors TV has confirmed it will
continue its extensive television coverage of the FIA Formula Two
Championship for 2012.
Available in 38 countries across the world but predominantly in
Europe, Motors TV will screen each of the 16 races live as part of
a one hour program together with pre-race build up, podium
presentations and post-race interviews - giving maximum exposure to
F2 drivers.
Each race will be shown without interruptions or adverts, and
predominately at fixed start times meaning races are broadcast at
regular slots throughout the season - just as with Formula One.
There will also be regular highlight shows, whilst every race will
also be streamed live in full and free to air across the world via
the official F2 website.
Speaking on the announcement Frédéric Viger, Head of
Programming & Acquisitions at Motors TV, said: "After a
successful first season together, Motors TV is delighted to
continue its partnership with Formula Two in 2012. The racing was
excellent last year and we're confident that the new Yokohama tyres
will make for an even better and more spectacular show. Live TV is
definitely what F2 deserves!"
The opening rounds of the 2012 FIA Formula Two Championship get
underway at Silverstone on April 14 and 15. For further details on
